Oxford's Participation in
University of California's Eligibility
in the Local Context Program (ELC)

We understand that getting a UC education is both exciting and valuable to the student's future. That is why Oxford School works closely with the UC system and ensures our classes are UC-approved. Oxford students who rank in the top 4% and have completed 11 of the 15 required courses by the end of their junior year are guaranteed to enter one of University of California's nine campuses in Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, Santa Cruz, and Santa Barbara. If students are eligible for ELC, they can choose the schools they want to enter. However, UC admission has the final decision on which school the student gets admitted to.
