Welcome to our Oxford School Website. Oxford is so much more than a school! It is a place where students, teachers, administrators, parents, guardians, our school board, and our supportive community come together to teach and learn. We truly work as a team and that teamwork creates an environment where all members of our community feel safe and inspired to do our very best. Our students leave prepared to fully participate in their future responsibilities... helping to contribute to this world of ours.

Oxford School is located in the city of Rowland Heights, a suburb of Los Angeles. Our proximity to Los Angeles provides a wealth of museums, cultural events, and activities. Our school provides an amazing learning environment for students to learn and grow. Our primary goal is to prepare students for their college or university experience. We want them to be academically ready for the challenges they will face. We also want them to be socially and emotionally ready for their higher education... and for life!

Students are expected to focus their attention on their learning while also remembering that a balanced life is important. They are encouraged to participate on our athletic teams, student council, clubs, performing arts, and many other extracurricular activities. This gives students a chance to make many new friends as well as learn time management. We also have many opportunities for students to demonstrate their leadership skills. All of our students perform community service through community service projects. This year, our community service projects include helping a program for homeless children and many others community activities.

The 2009-2010 School Year is going to be a delightful one! Our affiliation and accreditation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges continues as we work on expanding Oxford to reach even more students. We also continue to send students to UC schools and Cal State schools because they are prepared and ready!

We take the responsibility of educating our students very seriously and we look forward to continuing to support our students on their journey. Our staff looks forward to seeing how our students take their own personal gifts and share them with the world. We are a family and we have high expectations for our students as well as ourselves! Educating students is important work and we accept and love the challenge!

Thank you for visiting our school website and please feel free to call with any questions!
