All Oxford freshmen, sophomores and juniors are required to take the PSAT during October. Juniors and seniors are required to take SAT I, two SAT II Subject Tests (three recommended), and the TOEFL exam with a passing score of 45 on the IBT. These tests fulfill Oxford requirements and are therefore mandatory. The University of California system prefers SAT scores to be in the range of 543-700 for the reading, writing, and math components. The minimum TOEFL score requirement for the University of California is 80, with UCLA and UC Berkley topping at 83. A passing score from at least two SAT Subject Tests from two different areas are required for UC admission. We recommend Math Level II and Chinese, Korean, or Spanish with Listening . The UC system recommends three SAT Subject Tests. Oxford students are expected to perform well and meet the requirements. Oxford School makes every effort to assist students with college admission.
